Keeping tools sharp and in good condition is absolutely vital for all of the skills that are taught on DRST courses. This course focuses mainly on the correct sharpening of billhooks and axes, but also includes the making and replacement of tool handles using pole lathe or drawknife. If you have any tools needing TLC come along and bring them with you.
Note that this course is full and only taking reserves at this stage. Please fill in the form below if you wish to be placed on the reserve list.
Cost: £35 for members, £45 for non-members.
Membership: £20 per year, and covers all family members living at the same address. Membership runs from beginning of April
for one year. If you sign up after the 1st of January you will get 3 months for free. You can sign up for membership and pay for your course
at the same time.
