Stone facing is the art of using stone to create a solid face along an earth bank. It shares many of the principles of dry stone walling, but uses soil to pack in behind the stone work. Many of Devon's ancient hedgebanks are faced with stone but stone facing is also popular in gardens.


Cost: £35 for members, £45 for non-members.

Membership: £20 per year, and covers all family members living at the same address. Membership runs from beginning of April for one year. If you sign up after the 1st of January you will get 3 months for free. You can sign up for membership and pay for your course at the same time.
