DRST Courses

The Devon Rural Skills Trust runs Saturday courses (open to members and non-members) throughout the year at a variety of venues across Devon. Some of our courses are seasonal; for instance, hedge laying takes place between October and March while dry stone walling and stone facing are generally carried out throughout the summer months.

See the course calendar page for a complete list of the course we currently have scheduled.

Of paramount concern to the DRST is the welfare and safety of those at risk. Please read our safeguarding policy.

Course fees

We endeavour to keep course fees as low as we reasonably can, in order to make our courses accessible to the widest possible number of people.

Fees are £35.00 per day for DRST members and £45.00 for non-members.

Full course fee to be paid in advance when confirming booking on the web site.

Times

Courses run from 9.15am (for a 9.30 start) until 4.30pm.

Steel toe capped boots, gloves and waterproof outdoor clothing are recommended on all courses, both for safety and comfort.

If a course is cancelled due to inclement weather, the course fees will be refunded or transferred to another date of your choice.
